Dear Parkview Parents/Guardians:

On Monday April 18, 2016 Online Registrations for returning students began for the 2016-2017 school year. A brochure was sent home with each student with the steps on how to register the students online. As a reminder all registrations will only be done online. There will be no paper registration for 2016-2017 school year. It is imperative that you register your student on or before June 30, 2016 to guarantee transportation on the first day of school.

I hope you’ve heard some of the exciting details of the upcoming musical “Magical Me!” which all first graders will present on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., lasting approximately 30 minutes, in the Parkview gym.  The students will perform the musical during the day for the school and are required to return for the evening program which will begin at 6:30 pm. Please have your student in their classroom by 6:15 pm so that we can prepare for the evening show.

District 300 welcomes all new incoming Kindergarten students!  Parkview Elementary School will offer an Online Registration Information Night on Monday, March 7, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. to provide an overview of the online registration process.

Please visit www.d300.org/InformationNights for more information or call the school main office (224) 484-2500.

A Reading-Raiser is like a jog-a-thon, except your child will be reading books instead of running laps, and earning pledges based on how much they read.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

February 12, 2016 we will be having our Valentine’s Day Parties. Our PTC’s classroom representatives will have allergy-free treats planned for students here at school. Due to various allergies present in our classrooms, we would ask you to please refrain from sending any treats to school for your child to pass out to his/her classmates.

As a reminder, February 12 is an early release and there is no school on Monday, February 15 for President’s Day.

Thank you

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 19, 2015 and join the second  graders at Parkview Elementary when they present their fall musical, “Let’s Sing, America!” The students will perform the musical during the day for the school and are required to return for the evening program which will begin at 6:30 pm. Please have your student in their classroom by 6:15 pm so that we can prepare for the evening show.
